Sand Mining Case – SCFR 29/2020
WNPS and EFL are Petitioners.
A Fundamental Rights action was filed in Supreme Court on 06th February 2020 challenging the Circular issued on 31/12/2019 on mining procedures. The Circular attempted to remove environmental safeguards when issuing permits/ licenses under the Mines and Minerals Act. Next date- 03.09.2021 for Support.
